James is One!

A poem to our James on the day you turn one!

It’s your first birthday today, you’re one year old. They grow so fast, I remember being told

And it’s so true, time just flies and you are growing up so quickly, right before our eyes

It feels like just yesterday we held you in our arms for the first time, and there are still days I have to pinch myself that you’re mine

A whole year of firsts, our hearts are fit to burst. With so much love and pride, our happiness we cannot hide

To watch you develop, learn and grow, has brought us more joy than you could ever know

So here’s to you, James Alexander McKenzie as you turn one, your first birthday we’re going to make sure is lots of fun

We’ll play, sing, laugh and eat birthday cake, and more special memories with you we will make

Happy birthday our darling baby boy, our wonderful son, on this 26th November 2020, the day you turn one!
